“Cornered”

        --- A mapping projection art installation

 

[idea]:

 

This is a project that I did with Raquel (my teacher).

This is an art installation that needs mapping projection to project different image and video in different parts of dome. And visitors could go around to see the story on the dome.

[software + hardware]:

 

Dome (make by stick and paper) + basement (for testing, it is made by foam board; for the exhibition, it will be wood sheet and laser cutting some pattern on that ) + projector- Mac Pro+ Isadora + Maya + After Effect

 

[function]:

 

1. Use projector to project image and video on the dome

2. Image/ video could both cover the whole dome and also fill into different triangles on the dome.
